the location is nice... close to fenway and close enough to walk all of boston downtown if you want to sight see... we arrived and had to wait 3 hrs to check in... i waited at the front desk, basicly being ignored by 3 seperate staff members before being helped... the hotel seemed very dirty, the pool area smelled and... more

Positives: great location, clean, decent breakfast at restaurant in atrium, courteous staff at desk Negatives: interior rooms are very dim because they overlook the atrium which gets no natural light, interior rooms also have problems with noise coming from the restaurant (plates clattering, phone ringing), problems with plumbing, paint was peeling on ceiling in shower There were signs in the... more

My fiancee' and I stayed at the hotel just one night. The hotel was very close to the train and just 5 minutes by train away from Fenway Park, where we attended a game. Our room was clean. The only problems we faced was that the toilet did not flush properly and the air conditioning/heating unit was functioning, but not... more

Positives- Location- Very convenient to the T. Front desk staff was very helpful. Negatives- Room was very small. Liquor at bar was very watered down and overpriced. Room was extremely warm, even with AC at full blast constantly Restaurant and bar area very overlit...no atmosphere. Never enough towels. Overpriced. Must be better in Boston. more

Our room air conditioner was very noisy and difficult to control room temperature . It was either too hot or too cold. Dreary room facing interior courtyard, no outside windows . Our bathroom had mold around the tub and the bathroom was not cleaned well during our stay. Overpriced buffet breakfast. Iwould not stay here again. We have stayed in... more

I stayed here for 2 nights with my teenage sons. On the plus side, the hotel is located in an ideal spot - in an safe residential area about 2 miles from Kenmore Square. Coolidge Corner has tons of interesting little shops, bookstores, restaurants, and one of the best art movie houses around (Coolidge Corner Theatre). the hotel is directly... more

I've stayed at this particular Holiday Inn on and off for the last 3 years, since my father is being treated at Brigham and Women's. I've always had a great stay at this hotel! The staff is friendly, and they have made a lot of improvements since I was last here 3 months ago. They are renovating the rooms gradually,... more

This was the most disgraceful hotel ( if you could call it that) that we have stayed at . The staff was extremely unprofessional and rude. In fact dont' ask the bartender ( Guisseppe) for anything ..he just assumed would tear your head off ! He sounded like a monster or better yet ,Frankenstein ..he simply shook his head and... more

Third time we stayed at this Holiday Inn. We received the "medical rate" due to a needed visit to an area hospital. The room was very clean and comfortable. Was quiet. Staff is friendly and very courteous. Only thing I wish they'd do is to air condition the general lobby area. Very hot and humid especially in July. Parking is... more
