My wife and I visited the Marriott for 3 days two nights. We stayed in a bay view room on the high floor. We got nothing to complaint about except that it is a bit expensive. The room is very clean. A little bit old. Internet is $10/day. No WIFI. We tried Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Restaurant, food is good, not... more

My husband and I stayed at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina when I attended a meeting held in the Convention Center which is next door (and less than 5 min. walk!) After reading the Trip Advisor reviews, I requested a North Tower, high level, bay view room. We stayed in room 1228. We were not disappointed! The room... more

Very attractive property adjacent to a marina and the convention center. Swimming pools, nice shopping area nearby, excellent restaurants within walking distance, beautiful area to jog along the water. All good things. The rooms are a tad on the small size -- they're fine for one or two but three would be pushing the limit a bit. Bathrooms have the... more

I recently stayed at this hotel while attending a convention in San Diego. My time over the weekend was fine, light traffic noise from the street, but nothing too unexpected. However, from Monday through Thursday, a freight train runs outside the hotel several times a night, blasting it's horn. The first night the train woke me at 1:30am and continued... more

I found the hotel staff to be friendly and efficient. Room on the 23rd floor was clean and comfortable. Freight trains did pass in the evening, I didn't find that to be a problem. Expect some noise though. Hotel was very busy, seems to be a polular conference venue during the week. more

This isn't my first stay at this hotel. It is a conference hotel located next to the Convention Center. Probably the best thing is the location directly on the water with a short walk to the Gas Lamp quarter, PETCO park, and the shops along the marina. The hotel common areas are very pretty however the rooms are just average.... more

We arrived in San Diego on our California road trip and thought we'd only stay for a day but loved it so much we stayed for a night. This hotel is stunning and we splashed out on a room on a high floor with amazing views across the bay. Our room was huge with sofa's to chill out on whilst... more

Stayed for 3 nights at the Marriott. The hotel is very nicely decorated, the service is great. Traveled only with my wife. This is not a hotel that is great for a large family, at least not in the regular bay view hotel room we had. We ate at the D&W pub, which was cozy. Also dined at Roy's (which... more

Spent two nights here on a family trip. While the walls are thin, and there were times that I could hear sound from other rooms, I was overall very pleased with our stay. Check in and check out were hassle free. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, and we had a terrific view of the city from our 23rd floor... more

My boyfriend attended the National Home Builders convention and I went along with him to relax and take in some sites. This hotel is awesome, we got checked in easily and had a great room on the 15th floor of the north tower, it was a corner suite that overlooked both the city and the marina. (The North tower has... more
