All I can say is WOW, I'm still thinking about that room! I've been to the Vagabond to pick up folks that were staying there before, nothing special...your basic Travelodge, Best Western, Comfort Inn type of room. I noticed when searching that they had Jacuzzi Rooms and I thought I'd take the chance and give it a try. When you... more

The 3 of us stayed at Vagabond Inn for 2 nights over a weekend and everything was average for what we paid for. The self made waffles in the morning, hot tub and heated pool were better than what I expected. Front desk was helpful but took a while to bring us extra towels. Would have been nice to have... more

We stayed 3 nights in a suite at the hotel. Everything was clean and quiet. The continental breakfast was great. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Vagabond Inn to others. A nice place at a nice price ! more

Stayed here for 4 nights, quite central for the beach/sealife ( 10 mins drive ) Friendly staff ( problem with safe in room but fixed straight away ) Comfortable rooms, not the Hilton but great for the money. Good choice of breakfast, make yourself waffles ( great ) cereal, fruit etc.. Two nice pools and one jacuzzi, great to relax... more

House was flooded so my 2 boys and I decided to stay at a hotel for one night while place was being worked on. Room smelled of smoke, wireless didn't work, and the front desk had given someone the key at 4am as if the room was empty. For the price, I would have thought they would have represented themselves... more

We were checking in at 3 p.m and out at 7 a.m. the next day. I was looking for a low-budget hotel that was reasonably clean and close to things. I found a great Internet rate on the hotel's website so decided to give it a try. The pluses...nice pool and jacuzzi. There are two pools, one heated and one... more

My husband and I decided to stay at the Vagabond while in town for the AFC half marathon. Little did we know it was only five minutes from the finish line. And, since we extended our stay, it was close to everything . . . the Zoo, the beaches, downtown. The staff was very helpful to all of our questions,... more

We stayed overnight at the Vagabond Inn in San Diego (Hotel Circle) the first week of August while spending two days at SeaWorld. The room was clean, comfortable, and reasonably quiet. The do-it-yourself waffles in the morning were some of the best I've had. The two desk attendants were very friendly and efficient. The pools were very nice, and very... more

My grandson is 19 months and wanted to go to the Zoo. Being on a Grammy budget I looked around, via phone, and found both the Vagabond Inn, and Meredith at the front desk, to be a perfect fit for our quick and fun trip. Our room was nice & clean. The only down side was that the secondary lock... more

Stayed in hotel circle in July 08 to see San Diego. Rooms were nice, good beds and great shower head. One of the pools was closed but the other was open and was great for the kids. Close to Sea World and other San Diego adventures. Breakfast was so so, only cereal, pastries, coffee, etc. No place to sit so... more
