East Village Bed & Coffee offers affordable accommodation in a clean, comfortable environment that feels like "a home away from home" a B&B without the breakfast. Inexpensive cafes, restaurants, and bars abound in the area. Eclectically themed guestrooms reflect my character, history, and the unique neighborhood. This European-style guesthouse with a New York "loft apartment" feel has shared bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, free WiFi, computers with internet access, and a garden available in season. more » « less

The evb&c is a true gem in a very expensive city. We felt like we had our own apartment as there are a few bedrooms on both floors with a large kitchen, living room (incl computer with free internet) and full bathroom. We mingled a little with the other guests but saw very little of most of them. There was... more

My boyfriend and myself stayed at EVB&C from the 22nd-24th Sept as a start to our trip and i've got to say we were most impressed! Before we'd even left the UK Anne had been in contact by email to confirm everything and give us directions and her website tells all you need to know really! On arrival, had we... more

My 18 year-old daughter & I just returned from New York City yesterday. We stayed at East Village B & C and throughly enjoyed our visit. The rooms were very clean. Sharing a bath was not that bad! We were there for four nights and I only had to wait to use the bathrooms one time during our entire stay.... more

In late june 2008 we stayed there for 3 nights - got that hint out of the Tripadvisor. And yes, as a family of 3 (our youngster is 16!) all of us said that it was worth to stay here. And also yes: the ones who says that the little red ear plugs anne provides are absolutely necessary are right... more

We were in the Mexican room on the back side of the building- which I would highly recommend as the street noise is unbelievable on weekends and it... more
