Or take the kids to see and learn more about the region's unique marine life at the Gulfarium, in nearby Fort Walton Beach. Join a cruise to spot dancing dolphins, a favorite pastime on the Emerald Coast, or go on a deep-sea fishing excursion. When you're ready to get out of the water, consider teeing off at any of the area's top-notch golf courses, enjoying a fine bottle of wine at a fabulous restaurant and settling in at a comfortable hotel. Because in Destin, it's also all about recreation and relaxation. « less
