There are mosquitoes around in Punta Cana. If you are the type who seems to attract bites or if you react strongly to bites, take the precaution of bringing some mosquito repellent with you as well as some cream to treat the bites. If you are worried about Malaria, consult a medical professional and do not take the word of others as to whether or not you are likely to be bitten.
